It’s weird that I’m a size 10US on vaporfly when I’m just a 9.5US on Alphafly and zoomfly achieving that toe allowance for running

For vaporfly next %, I think is not just about measuring the length of your foot because what always bothering people is the toe width. If you are US 10 size: Wearing thin socks or not even wearing socks at all, is true to size. If you wearing thick socks, you should buy US 10.5. This shoe is for long distance race, don't think make sense people will wear thin socks for long distance of 42km. Thank you

Great comment. I bought two pairs...size 8 and 8 1/2 (UK size). Size 8 is perfect in length but width is quite tight. As you say, with regular socks it's ok but with a medium sock even it's tight.

Right, definitely something to be aware of!

@@KyleKranz Finding it hard to decide which to keep. 8 1/2 much more comfortable but a little bit of rising in heel when walking. Great video and good advice about ordering two sizes.

@@AALLAANNHH I get a very very small amount of heel rising when walking in mine and just the tiniest amount while running, but I could absolutely not go down a smaller size or wear thicker socks - they'd be far too narrow of a fit. I really only notice that heel slip when walking and during the (literally) first 30 seconds of a run and after that I honestly can't even tell you if there's any heel slip while running. I don't notice it after that.

@@KyleKranz I'm very glad you said that, as the heel slip is most prominent when walking, and even then it's only slight. While I haven't been able to run properly in them due to potentially sending them back, it's not as obvious with the little bit of running I could do. At no point do I feel I will come out of them. Thank you very much for your very helpful replies. I really appreciate it. Thank you
