Varadero Cuba March 2024 Day 5

Yeah I hear ya. I've been to D.R. Probably never go again. It's fine if you stay on the resort, but heaven help you if you leave! People are extremely pushy & get right in your face.

I’ve been to Cuba .. many times. 23 to be exact. I’ve fallen in love with the country , music, people and the culture . I was there in April .. we were very close to the varadero boulevard. I have to say the way too loud music there everyday was a tad annoying.. but I enjoyed everything else .

Barlovento looks like a lovely resort. Currently all Cuban resorts seem to be short of something, changes daily I guess. Hit or miss. Causes me some worry as we are in the process of planning a vacation to Cayó Coco. Any recommendations or suggestions?

Could you not exchange that bottle of whiskey for a bottle of rum at the bar? Check with customer service and see if they will help you out.

Good idea! We are already home but I'll keep that in mind for next time. It's actually pretty smooth whisky though.
