Yeah they have temporary changing room.If you are taking bath in assi ghat and feel uncomfortable then you can change in Pizzeria Vaatika's washroom. You can keep luggage there it will be safe..Those guys are nice and there food is tempting too. Otherwise I have not seen any locker to keep your luggage and take bath . Very informative...I have plethora of questions but I don't want to bog you down with all of them but if you could answer the following questions it would prove to he great help to me to plan my trip accordingly. 1) as a solo female traveller is it ok stay out there till 9 at night? Mostly around ghats and Kashi vishwanath? 2) agar camera or baki je shooting gears lekar nikle or darshan ke samay unhe deposit karnataka pade to kya ye safe or smart move hai considering bag mai ye sab saman hoga. 3) kta early morning around 4 city mai chehal pehal shuru ho jati hai?

Hi dear thanks for commenting and asking questions, let me let you. 1) it's completely ok till 9m around kashi vishwanath and Dashashwamedh ghat .I will suggest don't go to manikarnika ghat after 7.30 pm as a solo female traveller. Other wise banaras is quite safe. Har 2 kadam pe mujhe police dikhe and they are very helpful.. people are also very helpful there. 2) I will not recommend to do so .. government locker hai mandir k andar lekin bag submit nahi karne dete. Maine kafi request karke rakha tha bag. And bag me khud ka tala lagaya tha ..but I will say do not do that. Ap agar gadiwala chowk k as pas loge hotel to walking distance parega mandir ..ap room me rakhke jao gear.wayse bhi mandir k andar photo allowed nahi hai.. aur mandir ka acha pic Lalitha ghat k new corridor se ata hai waha bahar se photography allowed hai..waha ap camera leke jao..jama karne ki jarurat nahi hogi. 3) 4 am bohot chahal pahal to nahi rahti lekin riksha chalti hai.kuch dukan khule rahte hai aur safe feel hua mujhe.. Hi..I am planning to travel to Varanasi in April from Bangladesh. Can you answer some questions? 1. Where to stay? Is it safe for females? I will be traveling with my mother. 2. Is it a must to speak Hindi? I can understand some but can't read anything in Hindi. 3. Should I bargain for every money I spend? 4. Which ghat is better for Aarti? Assi or Dashashwamedh? Hi , thanks for commenting 1) stay near Dashashwamedh ghat or in gadiwala chowk . Temple and Dashashwamedh ghat is walking distance from gadiwala chowk. 2)female are safe there, even I travel there with my mom 3) some people understand Bengali but not everyone. It's better to try speaking Hindi . But people are helpful there. Reading Hindi is not needed. 4) try to bargain with auto and riksha . If you shop anything you can buy not much needed. Like if auto say 200 you can say 150 that much. 5) evening aarti at Dashashwamedh ghat is the best. Reach there by 4.30 pm to get good place to sit. Hope I have cleared your doubts

Hi, you can do darshan for free. Aassi ghar aarti morning 6 am. Dashashwmedh ghat evening 6 but reach by 5 to get best spot.

Hi, hotel price depends upon season. Generally start from 600 rs. And if you lost in any gali ask anyone where you want to go, any landmark, people are really helpful there . Also you can ask any police ..they will also very helpful.
