Variable Power Supply 0-18V / 1A

I built a variable power supply Using LM350T linear regulator with few components.The box I use is from an adapter that is about 37 years old.
Parts List:-
1) Transformer 20V/1A 2) Bridge Rectifier
3) LM350T or LM317T 4) 3300μF/35V
5) 0.1μF (104J) × 2 6) 33μF/35V
7) 1N 4007 Diode × 3 8) Cover Box
9) Green LED 10) DC Power Female Jack
11) 5K POT 12) 390 Ω Resistor
13) Switch 14) AC 2 Pin Female Plug
15) Screw,Not-Bolt 16) Heat Sink
etc.
