If I could do a Batman/DC cinematic universe of my own, I would adapt stories like The Killing Joke, Death In The Family, Death of The Family, Arkham Asylum: A Serious House On Serious House, Black Mirror, Dark Knight's Metal, Blackest Night and so on. Heard of Court of Owls, etc. But picked up Absolute Power recently, and it was clear to me that a LOT has happened that I had no understanding of. Failsafe what? (btw so awesome that Batman created a contingency plan for himself like he did for the rest of the League.) I’m definitely gonna pick up some TBPs soon to get caught up on some of these key concepts.

Hey man great video, but as a new comic book reader it’s really hard to find a video detailing the REAL origin of Batman. I’d appreciate if you detailed everything since his first appearance, people think the Golden Age batman is the same one as the New earth. Hopefully this doesn’t sound rude, it’s just that I wish I could’ve seen a guide for Batman instead of figuring everything out piece by piece. I grew up with Batman mainly through animation, film, and video games and never realized how much I was missing out on the comics. I just finished Hush and it was fantastic. Looking for stories I know less about but I will get Red Hood and Killing Joke to collect and enjoy. Death of The Family or the Long Halloween sound great. Or any comics from the 80s.
