The thing about Tony is to be cursed with being a super Omega genius and being self righteous or trying your best to be a hero no matter what you are cursed you want to save the world but you think every choice you make good or bad is always bad Tony can never win and he can never rid of his intellects no matter the universe. The struggle to save the world is burden most heavy on him because it is simple yet so complex I understand Tony. Me being of similar intelligence it is so hard to make the right choice.
@ballisticbiscuit5706 Жыл бұрын
I personally think that higher intelligence can lead people to giving into their impulses less, and dumber people give in more due to lack of foresight, not fully understanding what they're doing, and mainly acting emotionally

@VLMNTI2 жыл бұрын
Comics. Major things like this happens to everyone, and when the next big bad comes, they're the first to get taken out purely to make sure whoever is the focal character in that story can get their moment. I mean, why didn't Korvac just cure Stark? Why didn't Stark cure Stark? You'll say "Well it's because the writers didn't want people who've been through addiction to feel that they need the Power Cosmic to help them so it's better to seek realistic help". But in a universe with all these abilities and powers, you'd think it'd be viable eventually. Suppose no one stays powerful except the powerful deities, who consequently also get killed like it's nothing.

I can understand the In-between we being defeated. He's a constuct of Lord Order and Master Chaos. He was always at odds with himself. But to defeat the Living Tribunal? I call BS. The LT is just one step from One Above All. Someone like Korvac should not be so OP. This is why I'm tired for Marvel. Everyone is being overpowered and everything is a cosmic level problem. What happened with characters being human? Having daily issues? This is why I loved the John Byrne run of FF. The characters were humans with abilities, not semi-gods who occupy human bodies.
@timothylawson12712 жыл бұрын
The LT is just a plot device at this point to "prove" how dangerous some new threat is. Pretty much just the superman problem but in reverse.
@lazyking84452 жыл бұрын

the fact that tony fails horribly whenever he tries to do sth OP just sometimes gets on my nerve. i mean he really should get a moment of shine where he gets the respect for all that he has done for in the name of being a hero at least. like in recent hulk issue he literally got 2-3 pages of glory before his celestial hulkbuster armor got despicably annihilated. come on marvel writers you can never get marvel heroes to surpass the ones in the DC if you guys don't take it seriously and think it through.

Ok, so... being a genius means you automatically have the years of education you would need to be a doctor, scientist, inventor, chemical engineer? Taxi drivers, short order cooks and septic plumbers are curing diseases, while a longshoreman is building advanced robots (a lot of them by the looks of it!) and developing advanced fuel formulations based on... what knowledge? Being smart, even enough to be considered a genius, doesn't convey any additional learning or knowledge. I also find it weird that Tony didn't do the one thing he needed to most when he had the power cosmic... fix himself. He could have cured himself; changed his OWN MIND to not be so obsessed in the ways he later described to Hellcat; and so many other things that would have made all the other stuff he did pointless and unnecessary. If I were granted the powers of a god, the first thing that would happen would be bettering myself physically, mentally and in other ways so I could use those powers better. Heck, even if just having those powers fixed all my major issues, I feel like I could move forward from there without trying so hard to make the world what I thought it should be.
