Can varicose veins appear after surgery??? because my father had an accident and his knee surgery was done (but it was not done correctly because his gait is not quite normal now) and after some months of surgery... varicose veins began to appear...now after 8 years he has ulcers in his leg....so my question is.. did varicose veins appear due to some veins obstruction at knee level due to surgery?? Because his other leg is completely normal

Yep, watching my veins fade away before my eyes was very liberating, I went with what I pointed out and within the first 3 weeks or so the veins were barely visible! I just go'ogled the latest in Mabel Ridenbel’s Vein Solution and after 4 weeks my legs have never been healthier!

Prevention with healthy diet. Fiber and lots of it, but start eating it: 'Start low and go slow' increasing the amount. ☺

Venous insufficiency has nothing whatsoever to do with nutrition. It is a good idea to keep a healthy weigh, however, if Venous insufficiency is going to develop there is nothing whatsoever can be done about it. I was and still am an extremely slim, fit and athletic 36 year old, yet I developed a freak blood clot in my left leg through the contraceptive pill. Years later Thrombotic Syndrome occurred, which mean’t my vein valves were damaged through the blood clot. I have since had treatments at a specialist vein clinic in London in 2018 and now cured. Best money I ever spent.
