Great podcast Bob! Nikita and you are always a must see, but here, John’s description of his experiences adds much to the pleasure.

This is a phenomenally nuanced and detailed exploration of psychedelics. It really made me think about my own experiences.

The thing about the 'Unity' psychedelic experience is that it echoes the real experience. The physical world, the energy world, IS UNIFIED, interconnected, entangled ...but you guys talk about it like it's questionable. That's the thing though that's so cool about it...so verifiable ...in fact, on psychedelics YOU KNOW and it's not questionable. The Real World proves to be the same. What an insight!!!!

Most of the time I don’t really like hearing about other peoples trips, but this was interesting. I’m always impressed when people can articulate their psychedelic experiences.

Thanks for having and sharing this conversation. I found myself relaxing in the lovely atmosphere of questioning. I don't know how the media is in Russia, but in the United States so many people speak with so much certitude that I am generally made anxious with doubt.

Let me add: John is a delight, always. And I also appreciated Nikita, like some reanimated Peter Tork only with the cool factor amped up several notches (though Tork was quite cool) lighting his hand-rolled smoke with an emoji candle. Seriously, the candle was right out of central casting. Kol ha kavod, gentlemen. And God rest ye merry.

Loved this! It spurred a thought: Perhaps the psychedelic experience, meditation, psychotherapy, love, and the Christian Jesus thing all take the mind to a similar place: that "peak experience / flow" place. I've experienced 4 of 5, and yeah takes me to that happy place. However, I do think that one brings one's personality into the experience. And then there's also the interpretation, after and during. I think Nikita captured that well. Great stuff!

had that kind of experience with a lot of weed, and acid.

Religion professor Paul Schmidt says that you can distinguish psychedelic religious experience from genuine religious experience by the presence or absence of a hangover.

just take 400+ micrograms and smoke 2 grams of weed. then lie down in a dark room, I wish you the very best of luck not hallucinating

Nikita needs to ease up on the smokes.

Chuck it in the bin, you are opening yourself up to demonic attacks. You're welcome.
