in case you're wondering, yes, this is an actual thing from 1990, not a recent post-ironic vaporwave thing. just like samarai cop, i'd never be able to figure it out without looking it up lol.

Pretty sure everything on SotD is real/vintage

If its a hand drawn or hand painted artwork it is real, if its a composite or edit or collage of other artworks it is modern parody.

I dislike those purely modern creations trying to be passed off as a format they aren’t.

Good to see releases like this haven't been completely forgotten. ED put out quite a few good releases back in the late 80s/early 90s.

One of my favorite uploads on this channel so far. Great production and more melodic hooks than you usually get with New Age stuff. There was a song in the middle with space horror vibes that seemed totally fitting for a sci-fi movie like Event Horizon (1997). Lovely variety!

This sounds like it came out early 80s and not 1990, it's sick tho ngl

awesome. What's the deal with the cover?? Haha looks like someone did a "hey look!" snapshot while standing behind a motorcycle chick admiring a distant gigantic shattered woman of cork that has ejected birds of prey. And below them, possibly in the sky - is that a leaf? a pterocreature of some kind? Those pursed lips -- her trance was totally just disrupted.

There's a German painter named Katharina Wulff who makes similar work. Worth looking her up

@@cameronmasters7267 love a good painter recommendation and this is a good one. Brilliant work, like the most softcore and inviting that surrealism can be. And she looks so friendly in the photos that come up! Looks like she is in some Scandinavian place.
