Various Foundations | Concerns over the state of affairs in SA

Various Foundations have called on South Africans to engage in a National Dialogue that will seek to change the direction of the country.
The nine organisations have lamented the state of the country and the despondency of the country's citizens.
They warn that this threatens to reverse the gains made in the country's democracy.
The bodies say the results of the May National and Provincial Elections - which saw a decline in voter turnout - are an indication of the decline in the faith South Africans have in the electoral democracy.
Nkosinathi Biko addressed the media on behalf of the foundations.
