@Andrewsafb71: It's not the station's fault that some kids have mental problems that don't let them recognize the difference between reality and fiction. For example, most of us in the 80s-90s played the debuting Mortal Kombat game at arcades when we were merely 10 or so, yet despite all the violence of that brand, we not-stupid children (as opposed to kids today who are either coddled too much or are allowed free roam of everything, exposing them too early to life's adult situations) knew the, heh, bloodly difference being Scorpion shooting someone in the chest with his spear attack (a pixelated video game image) and something like the 1970 Kent State shootings - which the theme of Pete & Pete made mentioned of ("Hey smilin' strange, you're lookin' happily deranged. Can you settle to shoot me? Or haven't you picked your target yet? Hey Sandy! Don'tcha talk back. Hey Sandy!"). Why did we seem to get more out of life than kids these days addicted to technology and parents who let said technology basically raise their children? Because, back then, we were only given a selected amount of TV a day, were made to go outside, were encouraged to use something called an imagination (something the original makers of Nick had an abundance of), and were taught the difference between right and wrong, morality-wise.

Then it all went downhill when changes were made to the daily programming line up, SNICK was tampered with too much, then eventually cut, and the Blue Man Group bought out Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando, FL removing all the staples of great Nickelodeon that we knew like the slime geyser and the orange splat logo. I say " Bring it all back! " We miss you Nickelodeon, you're just not the same anymore. If you are set on staying the way you are, at least create a channel dedicated to the great Nick.

ademafreak81 @Nicktropolisofficial Boomerang can't even compare or touch Nickelodeon when it was in it's prime from 1983-1999, If you prefer Boomerang around that time period then you were raised on the older cartoons and shows that Boomerang offers. Me, I was born in '81 so there wasn't a day that I wasn't glued to the tv watchin all this quality Nickelodeon from " You Can't Do That On Television " and Eureeka's Castle to Ren & Stimpy, Double Dare, and Are You Afraid of The Dark?

@statefairshows I agree, sir. I agree! I feel like all Nick fans do, at this point. It really can't get more despicably bad down there. Have you watched the programming lately?? Today's generation of children can't possibly imagine what they're missing out on, and will greatly suffer for it. Some people may think it a small issue; to many, they may be "just cartoons." But OUR Nick pandered to a MUCH higher audience! Once witty, clever, and truly funny, it's now painful and enraging to watch.

@KtwMjsuperfan Kids don't always get into mischief, shows like the Rugrats tell kids to be "adventorous" and cause trouble The children didn't listen to the rules and used criminal tools like a screw driver to try and get their way. They ended up getting other children in trouble

Uhh no they don't, the old shows taught kids that people are green and blue and that animal cloning into hybrids is okay. Also that infants should run around and cause trouble and bad parenting to let them escape. Case closed

@KtwMjsuperfan Well when kids want fiction and get too much of it leads to school shootings, teenage suicide, and early teenage pregnancy. Fictional shows like the Angry Beavers promote going out and looking for trouble, which can get kids in a lot of trouble if they imitate their mischief! Even rugrats promoted breaking the rules and causing mischief!!
