@@Hani_Santa You'll probably read different opinions, I don't notice it but if I want to move my eyes to the side, I can see it but you don't actively seek to find an awkward viewing angle when there's a better one right? For me, the clarity across the field of view is far above my other headsets which are a G2 and an 8KX. Yes the 8KX has the largest FOV but it's not in the same sharpness class as the Aero and it also has to be dialled down to Small FOV for MSFS anyway.

This looks almost unbelievably good... :D It is so crystal clear. I can't wait to finally find out how the Pimax 12K and the Crystal will look, so I can make the final decision on what VR headset to buy to replace my G2. :D

Yes! We await to see if Pimax will deliver or not on the 12K. I'm pleased to see that a lot of the issues with the 8KX are much improved with update 10 and OpenXR toolkit according to those doing the beta. That's a great headset, especially in biplanes, the sense of wide view is excellent and less focus on reading instruments.

@@djtaylorutube The reason I'm very excited about the Crystal is that you can swap the lenses and choose between 140° FOV with the Aeros 35ppd quality, or go with an insane 45ppd quality with the Aeros FOV. Just perfect! Since I mainly fly IFR in msfs, the 45ppd option would be great for that, but when I fly in DCS the wide FOV would be the way to go. And built in tracking and sound and all the extra features. I just can't wait to find out how good it is. And even if its bad, I'll just go with the Aero

Not that you'd need them for taking footage, but yes, it is quite a bit of work since you have to set up each plane separately, contrary to MSFS doing it with a universal set of bindings. Any footage is appreciated! Thank you good Sir! :)

@@I-Am-Will-I-AmxXx No, why would I refund a VR headset for low FPS? That could hardly be the headset's fault, rather GPU too weak or game not properly optimized? I still have my aero and am pretty happy with it, the only thing that I might replace it with is Valve Deckard if that ever shows up.

this his a 3090, AMD cards are not supported as they do not support the compression algorithm required.

i9-10850K with an RTX 3090. Resolution is Varjo 35 ppd (default) and FS 100 render resolution.

Haha, yeah I have to let the AI pilot fly when I do these except he's not very "terrain aware". Same happened on the video at Lukla, went in a straight line right into the mountain side opposite, despite both flights having a flight plan with a turn immediately after departure.
