Thank you for this video. I have to put fluid in my front brakes on a weekly basis. Can’t seem to find the leak if any. Do you have any answers?

Check your calipers and see if the seals are leaking or the T15 oil plugs where you put the oil in and see if the little gasket is cracked or warn out

Yes the syringe will help move the fluid back and forth to make sure there is no more air bubbles

Hey bro it's me again haha I ordered the bleed kit, and I'm going to get the mineral oil. but I guess i will need to buy new pads as well?
@ShawnyricksTipsandTricks
@ShawnyricksTipsandTricks 6 ай бұрын
No you shouldn't need to buy new pads, unless the pads are majority warn down. But it's always a good idea to have them extra on hand

You can bleed the brakes without removing them from the scooter and save a ton of time and work. If you can see your pads don’t need chanced there is no need to remove the calipers and pads like that.
@ShawnyricksTipsandTricks
@ShawnyricksTipsandTricks Жыл бұрын
Agreed, however removing the whole caliper allows you to do a complete brake inspection top to bottom.

I tried this but couldn’t push the new fluid through the syringe to fill the cup. There was way too much pressure to do anything. Any suggestions?
@ShawnyricksTipsandTricks
@ShawnyricksTipsandTricks 3 ай бұрын
If you have everything hooked up and both screw caps off and the syringe down by the brake calipers and the cup up by the break lever you should have no issues pushing the oil through the lines... If you got pressure then you didn't unscrew one of the screw caps or something else.

Any guidance on swapping the front hub motor with the rear power supply to determine if it's a bad controller vs. bad hub motor? I can't find anything online.

Is it a Varla Eagle One Pro because if it is, it may have nothing to do with the controller or the hub motor and could have to do with the lcd display driver

Dude I think you’re spot on. They keep sending me the wrong display based on the numbers on the back of the display.

I recently ended up working with them on this. The original factory one operated both hub motors just fine, but it wouldn't hold the ODOMETER miles and kept resetting when I turned on my scooter. So it wasn't necessarily a bad thing but was just annoying.. Any how, the reason why I brought up that it could be the lcd display programming is because when they sent me the second replacement it would only operate the back hub motor and not the front. So then I got a hold of them again and they sent me another one that now holds the odometer reading and runs both hub motors just fine so some of them are faulty programming. I would try to get a hold of them again and try to get another one if you have trouble let me know.

bro can you give me the skills and tools i need to use my eagle one pro as a reliable daily commuter? 10 miles total travel per day?
@ShawnyricksTipsandTricks
@ShawnyricksTipsandTricks Жыл бұрын
I use mine as a reliable daily commuter all the time, and it's pretty flawless once you get some of the corks worked out. Most of my videos show how to take care of some the issues they were having with the Eagle One Pro when they first started to ship it. Once you get those solved, if any, then it holds up well, and you just need to make sure to check your brakes often, tire pressure etc, before each ride

It's on the back side of it. All you have to do is unscrew it and attach the right fitting from the bleeder kit and your good to go.... If that is what your referring too?

I have tried them out and so far they are holding. I heard others had leaky calipers too. If it came like that and there is a leak then contact Varla cause it will be covered under warranty. No scooter out of the box should come with leaky calipers

@@ShawnyricksTipsandTricks I just got my Varla Eagle one Pro for Christmas, 2 months ago. I have yet to ride it because is just to cold out. I noticed the brakes worked fine in my house when I first got it. Now I noticed that they're not gripping as good as when I first got it. I adjusted the screws inward on the brake levers, that did help. But one month later there not gripping again. I ordered the kit you suggested and will bleed the brakes. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for your insight and videos.

Thanks for the comments... Yes, unfortunately, mine was the same way it worked for a little bit and then I even adjusted the same screws for awhile, but ever since I bled them they appear to still be gripping fine. I can relate as well as the weather here is unsafe to ride at the moment.. Good luck with it!

Well, it's been 2 weeks since I bled my brakes. There holding up pretty good so far. Front brakes were easy. Back brakes had a problem..... When I would suck the oil back into the syringe from the caliber, I would get nothing but bubbles. So what I did I filled the syringe completely, and pushed the fluid thru the brake lever down to the caliber till I got solid fluid coming out. Then I screwed her tight and screw the top off too. She's working good now👍.

I ordered this kit and fluid for my eagle one pro. It appears that I don't have the correct fitting for the caliper side... the screw on the caliper side seems way smaller than yours
