While toasting a bread with butter, there comes a time when the white portion is just little brown, that's the golden time to get it out. Don't go for full , just half toasted breads

Its 2.30 in the middle of the night. Listening to all your SANDWICHE stories I started craving for a sandwich. Kitchen me Mayo, ketchup, butter, cheese, eggs, tumatar, khira sub kuh hai but bread nahi hai. So, ab bhuke peth leke podcast dekh rahi hu. Edit- Kitchen me chan bin karne pur ek roti mila in the hot pot. Made a sasta version of egg roll to satisfy the hunger.

My personal sandwich recipe (tastes like Margarita pizza) 1) One big, ripe tomato (or 2 medium ones) 2) Some salt and pepper 3) 1/2 tsp sugar 4) Dash of olive oil 5) Amul Cheese Slice 6) Domino's oregano seasoning (one packet, optional. Skip the salt if you add this) Slice the tomato and arrange it in a ceramic/MW safe bowl. Sprinkle salt, pepper, sugar, oregano seasoning, if you have, and a dash of olive oil (some butter or ghee works too if you don't have olive oil). Microwave this tomato mix for 4 mins. In the meanwhile, toast two slices of bread in your regular pop-up toaster. Once 4 mins are done, take the tomato out of the microwave and give it a good mix, smoosh it a bit to give it a jammy consistency. Now spread this "tomato" jam on a piece of toast and place an Amul cheese slice on top. Place the other bread slice and close the sandwich. Now microwave this sandwich for exactly 10 secs (not more or it will get soggy/chewy and lose its crispiness). Take it out, cut it diagonally. The cheese has all melted and blended with the tomato. Enjoy...

My Sandwich recipe: Toast one side of bread on pan with ghee (only one side). i use cow ghee, but homemade ghee gives better results. Add finely chopped onions, bellpeppers, Olives, and Jalapeno (If want soggy then tomato) on the toasted side A good sprinkling of Snappin' Cheesy Pizza Mix or cheesy garlic bread mix. Chilli Flakes for spice One slice of Milky MIst Cheese Wingreens Sauces (Cheesy Jalapeno, Cheesy Chipotle), American Mustard, or any other mixed in a bowl and applied on the cheese Cover with another bread ghee toasted side on to the cheese. Take it and keep it in the Sandwich maker. Toast accordingly for crispiness. If you have chips or Frech Fires to the side. Sometimes mix it with omelette or pan fried Paneer chunks in between. As I'm restricted to Egg cooking at my kitchen dint try with other Proteins.

When my brother and me were young, 4th grade, my mom got sick and and an emergency hernia operation. At the time my dad didn’t cook much, he was an ortho surgeon in a govt medical college. So he would make us daal toast. Like maa ki daal (cause it’s thick), just toasted it and gave us for school lunch for almost 2 months and we loved it and that taste has remained with me forever.

The Best Sandwich I ever had - I had a party at my place, in the morning everyone went home . I woke up at 1 pm opened my fridge and there was chicken chilly which was remaining from the party night and mozzarella cheese . I saw I have bread in kitchen, I just put the chicken chilly on the bread and mozzarella cheese on the top and just grilled it on the tawa . After that I ate it with ketchup while watching The Office . One of the Best Sandwich I have ate in my entire life . I’m drooling right now while typing this comment 🤤

A History about Pav in Mumbai. The Portugese brought Pav to the Indian west coast. The blue collar workers wanted to eat quick lunches without getting oil on their hands and so engulfed the Vada with the Pav as a way to save hand washing time.

I love trying different ingredients in sandwiches, love experimenting unusual combinations. This is for Kautuk, he would love this- sandwich 1: coleslaw but less mayo & cheese, only enough to bind veggies, green chillies and dhanya must plus salt and pepper; toasted in sandwich maker sandwich 2: peanut butter on one slice only, thick banana slices, pumpkin seeds and maple syrup/honey. I like maple better. sandwich 3: very thick layer of hummus on a slice, chives, cucumber slices, onions (maybe), drops of harissa/sriracha/tabasco (whichever spice one likes) randomly all over sandwich 4: fruit sandwich - buttered bread slices, banana, grapes & strawberry slices, few raisins and a sprinkle of sugar

Kautuk, if bagel is too bready for you, you might want to try Flagel. It's basically a flat bagel with lesser bread. Many bagel places in NYC have that as an option now a days..for folks like you who are very choosey about what you eat 😋

My sandwich filling is the charred corn, a bit of mayo, cheese, finely chopped garlic, salt and pepper. Grill the sandwich and then add plain tortilla chips inside the sandwich just before eating! It’s amazing 🤌

My sandwich is leftover Chinese food sandwich. Just take the Chinese takeout stir-fry/curry you ordered last night and put it in the middle of 2 pieces of bread. No effort needed since the stir fry also has the sauce and veggies and everything. Max recommend.
