‘Vasant Panchami’
At Gajera School, learning is not confined to classrooms and books. It goes beyond the four walls and finds place even in the celebration of festivals. Vasant Panchami is celebrated in reverence to the Hindu deity Goddess Saraswati, epitome of learning, music & art.
This year we celebrated Vasant Panchami which also marks the onset of the spring season with the learners of all grades.
The Gajerians of Grades I to VII came attired in vibrant hues of yellow. They had also brought yellow marigold garland with which the whole Assembly area was decorated and flowers were too offered by all the students & staff of the school to the idol of Goddess Saraswati. To celebrate this festival we held a Special Assembly on 14th February, 2024. The meaning of the prayer “SARASWATI VANDANA’ was highlighted. Program started with Saraswati Vandana. Students have performed Drama, Dance, Music and it was followed by a Vasant Panchami Speech. Flower Rangoli Competition was organized for STD V to VII students in which a total of 128 students had participated.
