Hyderabad-Vasco da Gama Express is an express train service connecting Hyderabad in Telangana, India with Vasco da Gama, Goa, India.
This train had its inaugural run on 29 December 2016 and regular run commenced from 5 January 2017.
The 17021 / 22 Hyderabad-Vasco da Gama Express runs from Hyderabad via Mahbubnagar railway station, Kurnool City railway station, Dhone Junction railway station, Guntakal Junction, Bellary Junction railway station, Hospet Junction, Gadag Junction railway station, Hubli Junction, Londa Junction, and Castle Rock, Sanverdam, Madgoan.
The train has 10 coaches comprising one AC 2-tier (A1), one AC 3-tier (BV1), three Second Class sleepers (SV), three general compartments (unreserved) and two luggage rakes.
Guntakal based WDM-3A / WDM3D hauls this train end to end.
Vasco da Gama (station code: VSG) is a railway station serving the town of Vasco da Gama in Goa, India.
The station was part of Marmagao and Vasco metre-gauge railway line. This was main rail in the state until Konkan Railway was started in 1998.
It comes under the jurisdiction of the Hubli division of the South Western Railway Zone.
Hyderabad Deccan railway station, popularly known as Nampally Station, (station code: HYB) is located at Nampally, a locality in Hyderabad constructed and earlier run by the Nizam's Guaranteed State Railway of the Hyderabad State.
It falls under the Secunderabad Division of South Central Railway while Kacheguda comes under Hyderabad Division of SCR. The station serves the city of Hyderabad by rail to and from many important towns and cities in the country.
Nampally railway station is a train station in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Localities like Salar Jung Museum, Charminar and Hyderguda are accessible from this station. MMTS trains run from Hyderabad Deccan to Lingampalli/Falaknuma.
Hyderabad Deccan railway station is a terminus, meaning the tracks go only in one direction. The station has 6 platforms. Platform No. 4 is the main platform that is directly located at the main entrance of the station, and is the first platform that one reaches after entering the station. Platform No. 4 is meant for trains departing from Hyderabad Deccan, such as Telangana Express, Charminar Express, Chennai Express, Godavari Express (PF. No. 5). Platform numbers 1, 2 and 3 are smaller platforms, and they are located on the "side" entrance of the station. These platforms are exclusively used for operating Hyderabad Multi Modal Transport System trains and the Warangal/ Kazipet Push-Pull Service, and other slow low priority trains. Platform number 5 is used for departure of trains and Platform No. 6 is exclusively used for the arrival and receival of incoming trains.
The station is connected to Nampally Metro Station with a covered walkway and railing.
This station has 7 pit lines for primary maintenance of trains originating from here.

And few weekly Express and Passenger trains are maintained here. Some of the trains which originating from Secunderabad will come to this station for primary maintenance.
Braganza Ghats are a stretch of hill section at the Karnataka - Goa border. This 26 km ghat section rail road connects coastal Goa to the hinterlands of Karnataka and other parts. It has three stations en route in the ghats - Caranzol, Doodhsagar and Sonaulim.
Its fame is mostly derived from the waterfalls which slide down gracefully in its midst, somewhere in the middle of the ghat with the name Dudhsagar Falls or Sea of Milk.It is one of the most beautiful falls in all of india.
he Braganza Ghat Section is one of the toughest ghat sections in Indian Railways. The ruling gradient here is 1 in 37 which requires the use of bankers. Earlier the Gooty shed's WDM-3A and WDG-3A class locomotives were used and now the WDG-4 locomotives.
Both the uphill as well as the downhill trains have commercial halts at Castle Rock and Kulem which also serve as the stations for attachment and detachment of brakes. But, the trains do not have commercial halts at the three en route stations.

We travelled in the month of Sep 2015 from chennai to madgaon in vasco da gama express. Amidst, hilly terrain this falls is one among the five highest waterfalls in india. The picturesque surroundings with beautiful landscapes and deep valley beneath is a spectacular delight during the train journey. As it happened to be in the month of sep, the falls flow was in abundance, and when the sun rays fall on the falls it looks gorgeous. This scintillating falls welcomes us to the tourist state of GOA.

This was not 17022 vsg hyb express. It was 07420 vsg tpty covid special. This was evident in hpt display board as well as gtl PA. Also karnataka Sk was on icf livery which is lhb now. This channel often mix two journeys in one journey. No harm doing that that but why it is not acknowledged?
