Где эта свекровь была столько лет????..... Сынок тоже хорош, ушел раньше жены к матери, жена успела по торговать на рынке, дочку забрать из садика, ужин уже приготовила, а он только к матери заявился. Где был столько времени, где???.... Свекровь... Какое имеет право прийти на территорию этой семьи. Мало сынок ее нервы мотал этой мамочке с дочкой, теперь еще эта свекровь набеги делает. Что за ерунда. Не дают спокойно жить. Когда пил, гулял сынок, жену выгнал с ребенком, она не видела своего дурного сына, не нужен был. А теперь семья живут дружно, счастливо, вспомнила про сына. Это заслуга жены, она перевоспитала этого алкаша, ее сына. Давай иди в полицию и пиши заявлени, а там сразу вспомнят и похождения сыночка и ей дадут по шее. Вообще, беспредельщина какая то творится. Why don’t you go to the police? Why do you keep accepting abuse like this from a mother-in-law? I think you need to start defending yourself because I was taught to respect your elders but I was also taught not to allow anyone to disrespect me or my household, I think respect is something earned not just by marriage it’s something that comes from person to person. People usually base this on the Bible that we know as bible children respect your father and mother but it also said parents respect your children. Unfortunately Vietnam does not have any laws for domestic violence. The only thing that would happen is she can be sued. Made to pay for any injury or property damage. That is a shame on Vietnam. Hear it would land you jail. Crimes against women a children there is so shameful. I feel sorry for Va and what she has to put up with. Husband needs to protect his wife and child against his evil Mom. They do have harassment laws but it is also lax and left up to the family to salve. So calling for them to call Police will do nothing. I am so sorry for Vietnam. They need better laws to protect their people.

Why almost all of mother-in-law in the stories I've been waching in this Vietnam stories which I am watching, mother-in-law is cruel and evil to theur daughters-in-law, in which daughters-in-law are only working for the good of the family. What I do not get is why you and/or your husband have not reported his evil-minded, mean-spirited , bad- minded jealousy-filled mother to the police. She is just jealous of how well VA and her family are doing. Where I come from we call that grudgemindedness , the word itself bearing an evil connotation, meaning immoral, bad, wicked, evil, vile, vicious...all of these words apply to her! she is all those things, more, and should be arrested for a laundry list of offenses including personal assault with intent to cause physical injury and bodily harm, trespassing on personal and private property, destruction of personal property etc. Just so you know, these are all charges of first and second-degree assault. Attacking or threatening or threatening to attack someone with intent too cause serious physical harm is a felony charge which carries a penalty of up to 25 years in prison.
