As a Brazilian, I always find it crazy that you almost never meet other riders while cruising the city in your videos. I know they're out there, but all we see are cars.. almost like nobody likes motorcycles in NY.

You would be right! Motorcycles are considered a hobby in USA, and only the smallest tiny little portion of people ride. And then the majority of those only ride when it’s nice out.

Remember it's not the miles, it's the # of heat cycles to cook off the tire mold release compound.

@@ducatinyc Depends on the tire and how you ride. Typically 2-3 cycles as part of a 100-150 mi scrubbing in period. For more track-focused tires the heat cycles are more important (because of differences in tire compound), for more road-focused tires the physical scrubbing off of the mold compound and a bit of tire profiling from settling in with your bike's suspension is more beneficial.

I would say right about now, Christmas, and New Year’s time. But it might be a little cold for an average rider. Otherwise this traffic all the time unless it’s a big holiday weekend.
