I would recommend doing a Guard counter more often as vastorage because you can then extend into Critical and Cero (Guard counter is F + m2 while youre getting hit and vastorage has a custom one)

Hey Khaiel, i have asuggestion on what move u should use with gem 1st is gekki, it stuns your opponent and with the legendary gem that makes it so your opponent cant use moves, he cant use his evasive to get out, i usually do gekki into shinten raiho since it does a ton of damage, or you can do an m1 combo but they will probably use their evaisve

Vastorage scales with both, but very slightly. I've played vastorage w/ 350 strength and spirit and the only noticable differences are obviously m1 damage which isnt vastorage related and the cero which is spirit scaling, though if you have strength its only like a 3 damage difference per tick

Hybrid builds are terrible DO NOT GO FOR HYBRID BUILDS instead go for either a strength build or a spirit whatever the choice you think it’s best for you however I do recommend for starting out stats wise 300 in strength or spirit and set your vitality to 190
