Vasyl Lomachenko - Is a Ukrainian professional boxer. He has held multiple world championships in three weight classes from Featherweight to Lightweight, including the International Boxing Federation (IBF) Lightweight title since May 2024. Previously he held unified and Ring magazine titles at Lightweight. Lomachenko is one of the most successful amateur boxers of all time, possessing a record of 396 wins and 1 loss, with that loss avenged twice. His greatest success as an amateur came at the Olympics with Lomachenko capturing the gold medal twice. He is known for his exceptional hand speed, timing, accuracy, creativity, athleticism, defense and footwork. Making his professional debut in 2013, Lomachenko tied the record with Thailand's Saensak Muangsurin for winning a world title in the fewest professional fights, becoming the WBO featherweight champion in his third fight. As of May 2024, he is ranked as the world's best active Lightweight by The Ring and ESPN. Lomachenko's inspirations include Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, and Roy Jones Jr.

One of the best boxers of this generation! Vasyl Lomachenko has been one of my favorite fighters ever since I saw him dominate the competition at the 2012 Olympic games. His footwork, angles, speed and all-round ability is absolutely incredible and his body shots in particular are thrown with pin point precision. great video. He might be the most underrated body puncher today as he has had to use it time and time again to stop or hurt men bigger than him at 135. Even tho he lost to teo u could see him hurt teo to the body in that 11th round. He hurt jamaine ortiz in the 6th with a body shot and pedraza twice in the 11th. He went on to stop Kambosos and Linares with the left hand to the liver. I almsot forgot to mention he hurt Campbell in the 11th as well and he was on his way down before Loma landed the jab to solidify the knockdown.

@@PolishGuy000 Not in my opinion. Lomachenko landed clean punches and hurt Lopez in the latter rounds, Loma was never hurt and pretty much dominated from mid rounds. Loma even won a couple of earlier rounds. Lopez work was not clean, a lot of the body shots were blocked or should not have been counted..low blows. Artorias Boxing did a punch count video, Loma tripled Lopez landed punches.

Glad to see Lomachenko’s body work getting some appreciation. His body punching is one of his underrated skills and he can really hurt the body bad, as shown against Linares and Kambosos.

Lomachenko is the one who got me into boxing, i was doing taekwondo and my coach was telling me about lateral movement and told me to watch lomachenko. Ive been in love with boxing since then and as ive found out more about boxing and different boxers these past 2 years, loma’s boxing is still the most outstanding and amazing that ive seen

@@BrandonReyes-vi4rm ive heard about willie pep ive not watched much content on him but i know he’s a legend. I found out about Canizales just at the start of this year and ive watched a couple of his fights he is amazing, I struggled trying to copy loma’s moves cause he’s southpaw but canizales’ being orthodox makes it easier to try his moves. Matrix style boxers amazing, jesse rodriguez looks like he’s be next master of this style

He seems better at body punching than a lot of dedicated body punchers. It's like he sees the angles openings and flaws that can get him there. Of course that's why it's called routes to the body. The onw he dropped Linares with was so fast I never even saw it.
