Excellent - i have been to numerous foot and biomechanical "experts" and they dont know this stuff! Its taken me 20 years to realise that i supinate mid stance and pronate late stance. The miracle for my running was through experimentation when i tries a forefoot valgus wedge and it cured a chronic foot pain.

Appreciated. This might help. Also seen a lot of people without any signs of competence. Mine was acquired (14-15/9/12, cold white leg, 5 1/2 week delay in access to an ultrasound/d-dimer to diagnose an acutely symptomatic proximal DVT without varicose veins, but with swelling within the fascia of the lower limb, for several weeks prior to diagnosis.. Albeit the loss of function happened associated with the cold white limb and intolerable pain, home alone, with a loss of consciousness after I phoned for NHS help.. (and was refused it by an incompetent NHS (immigrant; though that's not necessarily why the nurse was incompetent.. We have incompetent medics trained in UK too; and plenty of superb, exemplary immigrant medics, mostly from Europe.. Whom we are sadly losing thought Brexit..), Anything that could help my mobility would be awesome: I used to run half-marathons before onset.. Onset being over 7 years ago now..NHS have faile dto help me, and the NHS England Nursing Director claimed that UK citizens, tax payers, residents are 'not entitled' to NHS care for an acutely symptomatic DVT if the DVT was diagnosed privately.. (even if they'd tried 4-x over 5 1/2 weeks to access NHS medical care).. Clearly that's one NHS England employee wh has vastly exceeded competence in terms of position: ANY competent human being, with an ounce of knowledge about NHS or Nye Bevan, would know that NHS was founded to being equitable.. And tax payers should be able to access NHS care for a potentially life threatening acutely symptomatic condition.. Even if their local hospital (Addenbrookes. Always on Black Alert.. or was at that time 20/9/12) A&E only had unsupervised trainee/junior doctors on duty on 26/8/12 when first presenting to A&E with deteriorating symptoms, on advice of NHS Direct.. (As a tax payer, I am really angry at the atrocious care that I got, and am still getting, from NHS.. I am pretty sure that a medic/Nurse/Royal, would get competent care.. So, surely tax payers should also experience some level of minimum competence from a teaching hospital such as Addenbrookes? Even if nowadays they only care about rare diseases, cancer, and now have Papworth on site.. so might show some interest in cardiac issues.. But: not DVT, nor impairment through past inept care..nor even apologise for the poor care.. (Duty of Candour was/is NOT retrospective.. Unsurprisingly).

Wow thank you, I have that problem since birth. I also get pain in my feet every day. My dad had Pollo when he was 18 months. And now I'm understanding about myself.

High arch Soft insoles from Mark's was the solution for me, no more pain and they are well made they last for ever and they cost $39:99, make sure it says high arch on the box very important.

If you have a severe 'cavus' foot type and are using arch support you're going to be very prone to lateral ankle sprains.
