I've been meaning to pick up a pair of the Vater Classic 5A and 5B sticks. I like their standard lines of sticks but since I use a lot of sticks from various brands it's nice to have the Vater feel in the diameters I'm used to with other sticks, as I love the weight of Vater sticks and the lacquer feels exactly how I want a lacquered stick to feel. Can't wait to try these out!!

I’ve been playing Vater 5Bs for a while now - easily the most durable sticks I’ve ever played! But being that I love jazz, I wanna try out the Vater Classics Big Band sticks, maybe even in the Sugar Maple variety.

Vater sticks are great, but sometimes I get some pars that have slight defects in the tips, grain or weight. Some pairs will feel great while others feel a bit chunky and heavy. VERY durable sticks, though.
