As per request and as a personal tribute as a Catholic, here is the BBC royal death tribute in memory of the late Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI who died on New Year's Eve 2022. It includes the Vatican's official announcement, a slow-tempo instrumental version of the Vatican Anthem, and a Filipino greeting of the late pope years ago which is relevant today as we start a new year 2023 and as we continue the celebration of Christmas.
Eternal rest grant unto Pope Benedict, O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
