VATSIM tutorial! | Part 1: Installation and setup

Part 1 of my VATSIM tutorial series! Today, I'll go over how to install all the programs you need, as well as making an account.

I love the edits in the videos. Good to have you make an introductory video for VATSIM as well. I'll just add a few important points: Flying in VATSIM is not "just a game". As a community we expect mainly 2 things from all members: 1) Know how to communicate with ATC and other pilots. 2) Know how to fly your plane. If, for example, you login and you don't properly talk with ATC, especially during events you'll be requested to log off, or (in the worst case) you may face a ban. The same goes if you get instructed to do something and you don't know how to do it. For example if the ATC tells you to climb FL150 and you say stuff like "What is FL150?" or "My autopilot broke" or anything similar, that is not acceptable. VATSIM is the most serious network there is for flight simming. If you don't take it seriously or you don't want to take it seriously please consider joining other networks that are less strict. Should you wish to learn about flying there are many "virtual" schools for pilots where you can learn how to fly properly. Sorry if I sounded too strict, I just want to make sure people understand what their VATSIM experience will be. Have fun and enjoy flying!
