Rich, intense and thought-provoking music from one of the truly great composers, performed superbly well by consummate musicians. This is a work which can stand scrutiny alongside the very best of the genre. I expect to come back to this performance time and again. The string players' intonation is impeccable, while the Fazioli piano is a superb example of the work of that Company and is well-suited to the music. What a joy!
