My personal favorite live long version of the epic song from J.B. The band is so locked with James. Ultra high energy funk at its best.

So fierce and funky fantastic ! This clip should be better known. In some ways, even greater than the international classic single .

The 1970’s he owned it, even during disco, sales may not have been the same as the early part of the decade, but I find it hard to believe he didn’t sell out every concert or when a JB cut came on no one moved, you won’t make me believe it!!!! The 1970s was JBs period, it would never be the same again after this.

B.S. the Godfather of soul has had over 100 musicians come and go over 40+ yrs and he Never miss a beat. He would have did just what he did with any musicians that he employed. The James Brown sound was created be james Brown, not the musicians.

This is a great performance later in his career. Incredible superstar best to ever do it. You could tell he was high as a kite though lol lol. At one point, the backup singers were looking at each other like what song is he singing 😂🤣😅. Wait a minute this is not what we rehearsed lol. Incredible GROOVE. On the ONE
