As you discovered, chromatic ore is only found not exposed to the atmosphere. Enjoyed your first episode.

Very glad You are back! Well played. Iskall said that cromatic iron doesnt spawn in air. Strip mining probably the best method. Cheese them if you can, there is a function to prevent much of it anyway. Stay safe.

28:20 Walnut trees generate sporadically in the plains! They're also a decent source of early-game food if you don't have time for an animal farm.

Hey👋 Kinda long comment warning! I just wanted to start of by saying just how much i have enjoyed watching your content! You have a mix of it all; being an incredible builder, player and person and your energy and fun sense of humour make you so likeable as a watcher. But anyways to put this simply the last few days I've been quite ill, had a very little amount of energy and in general just felt pretty terrible. However in this time i remembered your channel which i had subscribed too a while back and got really invested in your first vault hunter series. In just 2 days i watched your entire vault hunter series, which sounds crazy as that is an insane amount of watching hours in not much time, but i was genuinely so invested to the series that I couldn't stop watching. So i suppose with this comment i want to thank you so much for being a source of joy for me these last 2 days, and i cant wait to see how this new series goes :)

You should check out iskall85, he is the developer of vault hunters and had a serie where he explains it very well while playing. He now started season 2 in 1.18 vault hunters.

Just to let you know, the ore cannot be exposed by air so you have to strip mine to find it

At 12:28 rn but chromatic iron have no air exposure, so it’s really rare. You need to do stripmining. I suggest at -47.

Also, all non-vault armor have same armor values, so kinda a waste to make diamond armor other than durability

@@OliviaTheVampyr actually, I believe this is only true for Boots and Helmets, both Diamond Chestplate and Diamond Leggings have three armor each instead of two. Later you can also upgrade to netherite (should you not find any Vault Gear first) to provide one additional point of armor per piece.

That's not true at all. Diamond chest and legs have 1 more armour value and then upgrading to netherite adds 1 armour again to every piece.

Press the number 1 key on your numpad at the right of you keyboard. If you don't have one, go into settings a keybinds then look for "Jade" I believe it's called and you can change it to whatever key you like

I'm well aware. The footage of my searching the caves to begin with was super early after the release but eventually I just strip mined and water caved to look for it 👍
