Believe it or not this puzzle took me hours as I only now realized that you could activate and deactivate boxes by hitting them. I literarily brought the small two boxes from the beginning and dragged me with to each location needed. I can’t believe I was doing it completely wrong and still managed to complete it. I guess I know why it took me so many hours for just one damn puzzle. That’s what I get for being hard headed and not wanting to look it up 😂😂😂😂

This game was really fun untill this point. That wraith thing at the end.. yeah I've been hitting him for about 3/4 of an hour and he is still on 90% health. You do want it to be challenging but not so challenging that you need to be medicated afterwards. There is a balance point in there, somewhere just after being too easy but before psych ward difficult

Thanks for the walkthrough! That first chain was really stumping me, but you gave me enough insight to approach this a different way. I just used two crates to basically fly around. Took longer than this, but it was more fun haha! Just stand on top of one crate and pull another one from a side or below so it bumps into the crate you're standing on. It will create momentum. Just don't forget to grab the second crate with you. I actually liked this vault a lot. Gives room for creativity. While I was doing it my way, I realized that it wasn't the RIGHT way to do it, but it worked perfectly.

I had already had the blocks arranged so I got one big one by the save point directly under the arch, had it floating used the gauntlets and tossed it up towards the top of the arch. it took a few times of pulling it back and tossing it till I got it. I used Ares' Wrath to leap up and double jump onto the block. Once the block stopped floating, Ares Wrath again and double jump. The trick is to toss it from in front of the save point directly up and then use Ares Wrath and double jump to latch onto one of the sides and climb up. If that doesn't work, dropping down and pulling it back and launching it again till getting onto and then if it's in position next to archway top, ares wrath and double jump. The solution presented here however is much more elegant than trying to get one block just right and attempting to jump onto i.

It sure helped unlocking triple jump before getting in this vault. 04:40. You can use the 2 large blocks there to get the chest as you can just respawn them afterwards.

In case you still need it a good trick is to put one on top of the other and lift the bottom one. Then you'll slingshot up and you can glide back down

If you do enough exploring and side stuff before this vault you can easily skip most of this vault. Using ares spear and the glide, you can get around with out using puzzles

If you want to go over big distances. Pick a big block, then pick the smaller block en float in ‘on top’. Climb the small one and the reach for the bigger block that’s beneath you. You will go very high in the air an fly over big distances😃👍🏻

Wish I recorded what I did. In the first area I just jumped on a big block then grabbed another underneath me and propelled my self high in the air, then glided to the objective and chest's. Then did the same to the other sides, to basically fast travel to that area. Then it was simple to move the ball, and simple to move the block thru the air one. If your playing on story mode this fight is over in less than a minuet. I don't even have the bird yet and beat this vault.

The vault that really gave me a hard time was the medusa one I think. Having to fly without a clear direction, dodging the lasers and nearly invisible corruption spots really made me not enjoy parts of this game.

Oh yes, skippity hop scotch with a cube, dodge the spikes and time the laser. I wanted to give up. Finally got 1 side, so it kinda bolstered my courage. A while later I got the other side. They can't demand trick jumps with the dang cube in your hands. Oh but they did. Add to that it's the main quests. If these were just regular vaults I might have just skipped. At times I wish they just did Odyssey/Valhalla gameplay. But since you wanna fly do you? We'll let you fly, fly here! Oh well 3/4 chains done. Gonna break and get that dang last 1.

I don't think it's the game, though the game does have some odd controls. From experience, the issue may be your actual controller. Switch controllers are notorious for drifting and forcing your character to walk without input and Nintendo never fixed it. I hope it's not because controllers are 70 dollars. I had this issue with two separate controllers. Just something to look out for

@@21526001270528 It's both, my controller beeing a jerk and the games sometimes really narrow/small hitboxes (arrow targets mostly). Died more than once or failed a puzzle thanks to this problem with the controller drifting. :-/ And I play on handheld mode (normal switch not lite) but makes everything a bit harder to see.

@@tikar8982 startet Hephaestus questline just yesterday. I am only 46 hours ingame but already nearly maxed out by many things. But Ares was really cool and I did it fast after I realized the two states of the cubes and that they work as a switch.

To be honest, Athena is left though, Aphrodite vault was the hardest for me, maybe it was the first but I really took my time to find out where the way is, the trigger and so on. Ares and Hephaestus were pretty straight dungeons, hardest part was finding the way across at the top on the right side and to get the first woodball up, don’t know, but the first time it didn’t allowed me to pull it up, though I changed the wind direction right so I tried with fast shooting and changing directions, stop the ball with my fenyx statue and so on. That was a little strange because I had the plain simple solution at first. But I liked it a lot, just without the statue ability I would not be abel to solve one puzzle. But it was cool and again something different.

Two ways, get the piece of Zeus' lighting or essence at the end of the vault or going back to where you entered. Tip: holding the + button resets the vault and places you back at the beginning. Also this game isn't linear. You can get here when ever and what ever "level." As long as you're decent at parries you should be fine though later tends to be easier because you hit harder. The game will tell you when you are either too low a level or are missing something you need to complete a vault.

When you start this vault it says that your progress will be saved at checkpoints so you can come back anytime to complete the trial! So I got past a couple of checkpoints only to find that when I entered again it hadn't saved my progress at all.... Am I missing something here? Help please

When you logged out I’m sure you saw the big POP UP saying If you leave you will have to start back at the beginning. I’m on PS4 and that is what mine said. Best thing is set enough time aside and just do it what ever you do good luck with it take care.

I think it only means that chests you have opened in the vault will be saved not so much the puzzle solving
