It's not just lifepod it's almost everything in their lineup up to and including the MX series but not their biggest safes. Connection to wifi can drop randomly from my research from reviews online from other owners of vaultek safes throughout all the series that have Wi-Fi. I really liked and wanted a vaultek safe but after doing research I'm going to look elsewhere. Lock picking lawyer has videos of breaking into a good handful of safes and gives his recommended ones. He also helps those companies by showing exploits and it's up to the companies if they want to revisit their products and fix the issues. If you want a full proof safe just go with the fort Knox safes. Their smaller safes are not digital but that can be a positive as it doesn't rely on power. He also shows an exploit with the older safes with fort knox but since then fort Knox has revisited their product and immediately fixed the only issue it had.

There is a use case for these you didn’t mention... A hidden cache. These make fantastic hidden caches because of the fact they’re air tight. Given you have an analog locking mechanism and/or USB, you don’t have to worry about power. The portability of this is perfect and the possibilities are endless. Oh and you can actually program it with an 8 number code, not just 4. Great review...

I just received my life pod with the cable to secure my firearm in my vehicle with the cable thru my seat belt. My advice is to when securing a firearm unload it prior to placing the firearm inside the lifepod.

Peter Lanza This is a safe. Not just a “gadget.”It comes with a security tether to loop around an immovable object. If you don’t like that, they sell a cable to attach it to. My jacket, that cost more than this safe, I leave unattended all the time in my room. Nobody is walking away with anything. Lol. If you watched the whole video you would’ve seen that part. Thanks!

It’s meant to be portable. But that’s why they sell cables to attach it to immovable objects. The average person won’t be carrying bolt cutters on them 👍🏻

I received mine from Vaultek on Tuesday October 8th. It was in a FedEx Express non padded envelope and received some rough handling from Florida to my home state of Pennsylvania. It is tough for it arrived undamaged. Mine was in some kind of a retail box with a thin plastic window to show off the product unlike yours that's in a more protected box. I went with the black and am very happy with the product. I had purchased mine online from Vaultek on Sunday September 29th. They must be selling very well as it wasn't shipped until Friday October 4th. The price at the time was $99.99 with free shipping. Thank you for your video!
