emmysbox I don't see how their that Orwellian, though I am not a Tau player. I always thought it was more like the Hindu caste system mixed "The Greater Good" notion, don't know where that's from exactly. If anything the Imperium could be called Orwellian with their endless war, thought police religious and Inquisitional bodies. Also in a communist society, in theory at least, there wouldn't be classes and everyone would be on equal ground. In reality ruling elite would emerge to control the masses which sounds like the Imperium. Just a thought.

Altansar was actually saved from the eye of terror by Maugan Ra, Phoenix lord of the dark reapers, The harvester of souls, during Abaddon the despoiler's thirteenth black crusade. he guided what was left of the craftworld out of the eye of terror safely. However the other craftworlds are suspicious that they could not have been untainted by chaos.

Decent summary but it would've probably been a good idea to show pictures of Eldar from a specific Craftworld when you mention that Craftword. It looks like you have pictures of many Eldar but did not match them to the path or Craftworld you mentioned when you mentioned it.

I think Ulthwe craftworld have the largest amount of seers, or are otherwise "more psychic" than the other craftworlds. Also heard farseers can only remove their helmet safely inside the infinite circuit lest all manor of demons spot their psychic presence in the warp

You're correct about Ulthwe. They also field less Aspect Warriors because of their preference for Seers and Warlocks; they rely heavily on basic Guardians because of this.

Concerning the cultural inspiration for the Eldar, I'd add that their architecture, craftmanship and alphabet remind me of the aliens' from old comic books and b-movies. I think it gives them a picturesque retro fashioned look, quite fitting for an old dying civilization.

Or here's an idea: callidus assassin assassinates and assumes the form of eldrad ulthran. She then goes to ulthwe and attends a meeting of the seer council. Then, she places an array of tiny locator beacons around the room in which the meeting is being held. Then, during the meeting, she abandons the form of eldrad and numerous calexus and space marines teleport into the craftworld using the aforementioned locator beacons, killing the seers with their own powers and pounding the eldar from within. Ulthwe officially removed.

Absolutely FERAL You don't know much about the Eldar, do you? First: killing Eldrad? Have fun doing that. How often do you think Chaos has tryed that already :) Second: you can't just summon a seer council per voxchat. Third: The Warpspiders (tny arachnoid beings that guard the craftworld and gave the warrior aspect it's Name) and other such mechanisms would still spot him/her entering the Craftworld and kill him/her Fourth: You can't teleport into a Craftworld especially not into Ulthwe witch has to defend itself against Chaos all the time Fift: Not even the Grey Knights could force their way into a Craftworld. It took a nearly halv of a Hive Fleet to do that and they still got thrown out again. Sixtt: Every Eldar would notice the trick, because of the psychic Fingerprint of the assasin wit is still a human. So nope, the Infinity circuit is off limits. There is a whole Craftworld and Fleet to protect it.

Seeing as it runs on psychic energy, it would blank out all the souls inside it, thus feeding every soul to slaanesh, and also the craftworld could no longer be sustained, and would die out. The bonesingers would lose their abilities and the eldar of said craftworld would be greatly crippled.

The webway experiment the Emperor was making failed when Magnus busted into it to warn his father about the coming heresy by Horus. It didn't fail when Horus invaded Terra. But yes part of why the Emperor stays where he is, is he must fight at the doorway to keep it from being over run.

It predates the Imperium as known to us. M15-M25 was when humanity first began to disseminate from Earth/Terra, then during the period the Imperial call the (Dark) Age of Technology. The Fall, known to humans as the Old Night, occurred after this and lasted for five millennia. It is only after that, that the Great Crusade of the Emperor began. The Age of Technology was the height of human civilisation. Data from that period (Standard Template Constructs) are astonishingly rare, of those that still exist, few have been recovered by the Imperium/Adeptus-Mechanicus.

They have a fairly religious society which they preside over, some actually care about the religion, but a lot just use it to manipulate the populace to do shit they want (whether that be advance their cause, assist in their racial survival, help chaos, etc.), some are willing to work with/use anyone and anything to achieve their ends, some want to destroy everyone and everything to achieve their ends, some of their ends are the destruction, some of their ends are the unity. Brennan Morgan The avatar is a minor aspect of the (possibly dead) Kaela Mensha Khaine, Eldar bloody-handed God of Murder, Violence, Destruction and War, which lives at the heart of Eldar craftworlds. The Avatar of Khaine (its full name) can be summoned forth if there is a great enough need for violence in a coming battle, and is made of semi-living, super-heated iron.

It gets worse, while the rumour of Sigmar being a pro march have been debunked, the new End Times lore mentions how some Skaven are fiddling with a "Farsqueaker" (Skaven phone) and end up receiving a response from an "Elven sounding alien voice", and also how a Wood Elf character enters the realm of Chaos and encounters a giant knight in silver armour...

FYI the eldar protect their own people... those "tricks" are not something you'd want to be on the other end of... the imperium is tollerated because it's virtually a huge invashion spunge for them... they DO NOT see humans/tau/kroot/ect, ect... as in any way equal to them. THAT is how the "lesser races" see them. eldar are better than the rest and their not shy about it...

The Dark master well that is a wall of text... Mostly correct. Though, i think the Imperium is tolerated, because (and that comes from an Eldar fan here) the Eldar can´t do shit to remove them... and they are kind of helpfull when you need a few bodies.

+jeova0sanctus0unus i wouldn't say they are powerless to remove them... but the eldar are on the back foot and virtually fighting for each and every life they have, going so far as to put rifles in the hands of the dissembodied dead and send them marching of to war lol! the cost of an all out conflict with the imperium of man and it's near limitless "human resources" would be beyond catastrophic for even a united eldar... better to uttalize the galatic meat-sheild.

Weird question (since my mind can't help, but think that way) have there been any...crossbreeding between Eldar and Humans? It'd be weird since they're taller then a load of us, but could it have happen?

According to Phil Kelly, the guy who writes the new Eldar fluff: yes, Eldar/human interbreeding is absolutely possible from a biological standpoint. However, due to societal views on both sides (hint: **BLAM**), it's mostly restricted to the Dark Eldar and the Eldar pirates. Which opens up a huge pandora's box of disturbing implications.
