I’m a professional writer and I sincerely don’t think this is real. I think this was a genius publicity stunt and a way to get every big super fan and nerd to make a video about what they wish would be in season one and what they don’t want in season one without having to spend a dime. That’s why the clothes look so crappy. That’s why they were able to take paparazzi pictures even though you’ve never seen paparazzi pictures of a pilot being shot before let alone a huge one that should be secretive because it’s such an anticipated thing… There weren’t even stage directions and shit like it was so poorly written… Forget about how comically bad the story was… The syntax wasn’t even correct. It just didn’t make sense how it went to print and screen… even as a pilot. Not to mention… They know that they could get a season out of this show and sell millions of advertising space even if it’s just barely mediocre… I refuse to believe that they couldn’t find a single script writer in Hollywood who could do better than this. I do however believe that they toss around ideas for however long and couldn’t come up with a good enough one… Then they saw everybody posting video after video after video saying what they would have done differently for the adult version of the Winx club (on netflix)… and they’re already a channel that doesn’t care if they have a show that people watch because it’s so bad it’s good… Riverdale… And that show is the definition of so bad it’s good… Because we all know how bad the writing is and how ridiculous the storylines are but for some reason it really genuinely is entertaining lol… But my point is they’re obviously not above this… Like they don’t care about the bad press… They have made no attempt to make Riverdale better because they don’t need to because they don’t care about that because they’re not HBO or Showtime… And they’re making literally multi millions with how popular the show is… So why would they care if a pilot that they’re not even actually filming gets a bad rep? See what I mean? It doesn’t seem as crazy anymore does it lol? Think about it… Most shows… Especially young adult shows like this that have crazy fan bases if they’re liked… And especially if it’s in adaptation… they watch all the videos of people saying what they like and dislike and don’t want to see in season two and blah blah blah usually before they start riding season two… Shows like Game of Thrones and stuff don’t do that because they don’t want to risk being affected by it… But young adult shows with fan bases don’t want to risk losing fans because they have to sell merch and books and hopefully a film and… you get the idea. So what is more genius than getting everybody to make those videos before you filmed a single episode? And to make it even better they are none the wiser about it… They don’t even realize that that’s what they’re doing… And to make it literally perfect LÌOLÀ now you not only have the original fans but people that are going to come on to hate watch it so you’re not only can get a ton of new fans right from the jump… WHO ARE ALL EXPECTING THE WORST (who could ask for better when putting out new art- seriously?) so even if it’s bad, there’s no way it’s going to be as bad as this… So everyone’s gonna say “it was better than I expected” or be impressed it improve even if it’s bad bc it can’t be THIS bad.. But if it turns out great…… think about how much everyone is going to rave like and say “this is what you should do” “they should listen to the people!” and make such a big deal about how they turned it around…Lol which will then get them even more people watching for season two… But people are going to really feel like it happened organically so they’re not gonna like be put off by it… It’s literally the most evil genius plan and that’s why I think it’s true lol. Hollywood. Oh well hopefully we’ll at least get a great show out of it… There are SO MANY red flags that SCREAM “this just isn’t possible”… HOW THE HELL DID IT LEAK?! I don’t think I’ve even heard of a crappy PILOT script leaking… But yet a highly anticipated one does?
