I have always believed that the omega was such an underrated car. The top spec 3.2 give any bmw or merc of the same era a good kicking when it comes to performance, spec, driving comfort and reliability. Really miss my 3.2 and I was super disappointed when I replaced it with a 520d F10 ;(

DawidCantDrift absolutely agree mate, I have always flown the flag that these were majorly underrated in a road spec and track spec, ok making it track ready has been extremely difficult for me because no one has done it really, so everything is custom, but I’m getting there, I’m currently working on it now, hopefully back out there in 4 weeks I hope, I can’t get enough of driving my own car 😂, should have kept your Omega mate, big mistake

Because Omega was more expensive than them , thats why people chosed opponent cars also i always asking myself why i should buy Omega ? i lookin BMW it has E39 5.40i , Merc also similar power plus they are premium ( luxury ) car , Omega B was standart saloon car i cant find any excuse to choose Omega. By the way i really love Omega B also in Omega A Lotus version too but to be honest E39 5 series better than it.

I've had over 30 cars over the years and by far my favourite was a Vauxhall Omega 3.0 MV6 automatic which had an LPG gas conversion. I loved the kick-down in Sports Mode. It went from 70 to over 100 in the blink of an eye. The full leather interior made it feel really classy.

@@L.r.e_motorsport yea I saw you was gonna have that Evo, he would have had to move soon enough. that omega you have seems like the real deal when it comes to handling, hardly any issues when pushing it, seems to relish the thrashing. mine flopped about a lot but would give most half decent cars a run for their money on the motorway, even with 170k on the clock mine would get to 160 pretty easily.

You should take it to Misha Charoudin channel. I wonder what he would say.

He has done a walk around on it before in one of his videos like 3 years ago, but I wasn’t there, I doubt he would be interested now

@@L.r.e_motorsport He does drive older cars too, I would ask him. Could be a cool video! Can you help me with couple of things with Omega... Would you be to send me an e-mail with your omega alignment and tracking details? I have problem with front tires wearing on the inside when driving fast in the corners. I would be grateful

@@bax442 tbh, my alignment probably won’t suit your car as I am running max camber front and rear, I’m also on the BC coilovers with custom spring rates, my car also wears very bad on the inside, but that is due to the 3 degrees of Camber on the front of my car, I’d say you are also just running a lot of Camber

@@L.r.e_motorsport negative or positive 3 degrees? I guess that it's just single wishbone suspension for us. I have seen omega with monaro suspension rear and front on eBay. Apartament it just fits

@@bax442 negative 3 degrees on the front I’m running, yeah, there isn’t really much to do about it, I used to drive with the OEM wheels on the front, with cheap tyres, so I didn’t scrub the Semi Slicks
