That bit of my SIgnum does not work. I keep on pressing the big buttom to acces de menu but nothing happens. I aam looking for a spre air con controls console to chek if tht is the solucitn. Ay ideas?

its a known issue with the vectra and signum, the conections on the PCB get broken overtime because of the presses you will either need to replace it with a known good one though that will also eventually fail or repair your old one (tutorials on youtube) which if you do it right will work like its new i did that to mine and no issues yet.

When you put that X in the box marked AC. Does the X mean the AC is on or off

It means its on, when x in box. He turned it off which seems strange when trying to tell us about having air conditioning. Its also confirmed on panel uf turned off as it will display ECO.
