The Palolo Deep Marine Reserve is one of the best snorkelling spots in Samoa and is only a 5-10 min walk from Apia Centre in Samoa. Cool! I think your snorkel was upside down though lol. and hydroslide is such a kiwi term! sucks that it was closed!

@TravelKiwi it's probably just a scuba thing, but the snorkel usually goes on the left side. The mouthpiece is usually angled so that the drain valve points downwards to help keep water out of your mouth, but I mean that's by no means a mocking comment, it might just be helpful for next time you're in an absolute paradise having an amazing time!
