Try spacers on the door hinge to tighten the gap between the door and the rear part of the body should be like half a 1/4 inch gap there you still have the front body that im sure could be pushed forward to cover the gap between the door and the front body or fender

On my build, just as you did , Im setting gaps to the body before we weld the cage down, including putting hinges and doors on. So it looks like you may have welded your cage just a little to far forward by 1/2",hence the big gap on doors for striker plate. We had to do a little grinding here and there to get the body in the right spot to weld. This might be the issue. so now you have to do more mods to get stuff to fit right. Hope the front goes on O.K. for you.

Pittsburgh Vaydor, I just started the process. I'm going out to Pinellas Park to speak to Matt next week. I have a couple questions for you.
@PittsburghVaydor6 жыл бұрын
I’m willing to answer any questions but if you’re going to speak to Matt I’d suggest asking him, he knows much more about these cars than I do, after all he designed it

@@PittsburghVaydorI'm going to meet with Matt two weeks from now. I was wondering if you are planning on doing any engine upgrades? Also, for much improved sound attenuation I'd suggest acoustiblok check it out here kzbin.info/www/bejne/hnrbqIGsnaiir5Y I was also wondering about your background working with cars, I love your videos and can't wait for the next one.
