Nick, you are a great teacher ! I'm totally new to VB.NET (not to programming) and your way of teaching and demonstrating things is just what I was looking for. Congrats for that and thanks so much for the time you have spent in making those videos. You desserve a 5* on my personal scale.

I am going through this to teach my students programming for CIE GCE Alevels Computer Science. Even after 6 years of programming experience, seems like I learned a lot of new concepts from this series. You are an amazing teacher!

Hi again Nicholas, I am still using global variables for all my programs, and hence writing spaghetti code! Your videos are awesome though and I have recommended your tutorials to anyone trying to learn programming. Thank you again!

If you can create a function, is there a way to code for an inverse function given the code for the original function?

Hi Nick, thanks for the video's they are really good. Can you help me with the question posed at the end of the video. I cannot seem to get all the functions to display. I did it!! Thanks for your help

Wendy Bent If you mean for the all operations in one go? Then you should be adding another menu item, adding another else if to the statement in CollectTwoNumbers and performing add, subtract, multiply, divide and modulus one after the other. Don't over think it ;)

Thank you for the video's. You almost make me want to stop using global variables :) I really don't see why I should not use global variables. I program alone and find using global variables in small to medium programs makes things faster to code and more readable.
@NicholasDingle8 жыл бұрын
+Jason B I hope you do give up the globals as some programming languages don't even have the ability to create global variables. If you ever find yourself doing collaborative programming, global variables are a big no no, and it's always fun to program with someone else!
