First game i was nervous for fatality. Then the close 2nd match. Then fatality figured it out and rolled. Fatality matches are always epic. Salute quik he was amazing

13:00 excellent conditioning here. Fatality has spammed Jab at the ledge many times by this point and Quik has avoided it by going for the ledge roll get up option. Fatality spams Jab here in order to get Quik to go for the ledge roll so that he can cash in his punish of that option. This is why I love fighting games.

I'm a Samus main and tho I learned a lot from quik, I srsly cringed at this performance. He failed to adapt while Fatality did. quiK kept coming with the same approaches over and over and over... trying to fake out Fatality like he's playing a damn online match for Alpharad KZbin clips. Got embarrassing real fast once Fatality figured it out. I mean ffs quik... Samus has plenty of moves that easily outrange Falcon, but instead he chose to try to somehow outspeed and beat Falcon to a close combat match??? Fatality really tilted him... sad to see.

Fatality really is incredible with Falcon.. And quiK is unreal with Samus... I thought quiK would take this one tbh but Fatality with that intense pressure and perfect move choices. Great match lads ! Good luck to both of you onwards from here.

Samus is a really crappy character. Why are we being frustrated by a game for fun? The minimum line that the opponents have to stand on in order to keep the appearance of a game is too high.

Quik should have won this set, dude couldn't stop mashing options and stopped thinking. Just started playing Samus, which ended up costing him game 2 and inevitably, the set. GGs to Fatality, held his composure, Quik needs to be a little more slow with his button mashing.

Quik was rolling a little too much near the end. Someone like Fatality will capitalize heavily as shown in the last set, especially on that last stock where he read two straight rolls from the ledge by Quik.

I think the mixup to when opponents start tracking all the games you are playing is to just stop playing and let them try to read you. Then wif punish Edit: actually it looks like you tried that third game against fatality and you got shield poked. I think you can only completely stop when they beleive you are going in. Otherwise you need to feint so they don't confuse your decision for fear

Quik and Teaser do play differently, but I still feel Fatality’s matchup experience vs Samus really shined in this set once he caught on and got in Quik’s head a bit

Great stuff Fatality until someone else can consistently prove otherwise, he is still the best Falcon! That download in game 2 after he took stock 1 ended the match Quik doesn't use uncharged blaster, zair, nor bombs in neutral which greatly helps in the match-up. Samus has great buttons but its freakin Falcon ya cant just rely on Charged Shot and UpB to bail ya out all game Fatality read Quik like a book im surprised he didn't make any counter adjustments. Players of his caliber usually counter the counter (hence why all the game 5s at the top level)
