They are all North-Americans. Camila is a Madrid-born, Cuban-Canadian, KG is a Caucasian from Missouri, Lexi is Hmong-American, Kaylee is Korean-American, Kendall is Half-Vietnamese-American, and Savanna is mixed Black/Trinbagonian/Venezuelan-American.

@@naynay954 not really on purpose .. it was a meritocratic choice from the A2K competition show. you should check that out. the others not picked are also very good .. one has debut as a solo .. with colabs with others ..

They are all from a survival show called A2K (America 2 Korea) where them and 4 other girls worked together to train in singing,dancing, and things like interviews and also got ratings from their coaches and peers. These are the final 6 that ended up making the group, and they did put some songs out last year to announce the final members, but this is their official debut! They are all different backgrounds but come from America (and Canada) and are ages 14-18

The group is diverse ethnically, but nationality-wise, they all come from America besides one that comes from Canada.

First pronounce "V" then "cha". It comes from the Korean word to shine a light to show the way. You are also correct about them being diverse. On purpose I believe because it is representative of America. 6 members as follows: Camila- The taller hispanic girl. Her parents are from Cuba, but they live in Canada. She has been on multiple talent shows with good results. She is proficient in English, Spanish, and French. She rated top in all categories. Lexi-, the older Asian girl, is ethnically Hmong from Laos. She has studied dancing for 4 is an accomplished ballerina. Kaylee-, the younger Asian girl, is 14. She is ethically Korean and speaks both English and Korean well. KG-, the blond girl is from LA, and she plays guitar. When she auditioned for the group, she had a nasal twang, which she had to work hard to change. Savanna-, the light skin Afro-American girl, her parents are originally from Columbia. She is the hip-hop rapper vibe of the group. She is also proficient in English and Spanish. Before the show, she competed as a gymnist, but an injury hampered her from further competician. Kendall-, Is the short, light haired girl. She is also ethnically diverse as her dad is American and her mother is Vietnamese. She has a very shy personality. She is very smart academically and creates beautiful imaginative art. They were on a web-based reality show called A2K, which means America to Korea. JYP, through the show, wanted to form an American Group trained in the Korean K-pop system. Hope that helps. We fans are called Vlights!
