To think that just about a year ago these girls barely knew each other to now dancing so synchronized just shows how hard they work and how talented they are! I don’t know why people compares them to other Kpop girl groups saying they’re not up to par and blah blah blah… these girls were not trainee, they didn’t train together for years and years from the moment they were 11-12; yet look at them, they’re killing and eating it!! Good points. Compare to other JYP girl-groups: in NMIXX, everyone had trained for 3 years minimum, Lily & Haewon were often paired up at showcases and went to high school together; Twice has Jihyo/Jeongyeon/Nayeon who had been good friends as trainees for 5 years before debut (that's why they're so savage to each other). Vcha is green by comparison so we are and will be seeing much of their growth in real-time, more Japanese-style than Korean.

It is very evident that installing Lexus as the leader is taking effect. Because they do not always train with their teachers/ trainers, esp now that they are full fledged artists, so there is a lot of private practice times. The leader's role is to plan, organise and conduct the group practices themselves, and also maintaining a level of motivation and discipline in what is essentially drill sessions. Lexus has a lot of experience in the past in Kpop group dances, having competed and performed in many places. She is a major asset and reason in raising the performance standard of the group. A leader in such a situation is both a captain and a teacher. groups where we have seen in videos leader playing this role very clearly is Yujin of IVE and Solar of Mamamoo.
