I tried doing this but the connection is not made and it says that the test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider! could you please help me with this

Check your database username & password, check if you entered correct server location & name etc.. This is usually that kind of error.

Also if i want to make a connection using windows authentication is their a different procedure for it or we can use this same process?
