My dad owned a shop down on grace st. and my brother and I spent much of our youth dn there and its crazy cuz I rember that woman at 57 seconds also. She was a regular on Grace St. Those were the days w/ The Store, Grace Place, The Biograph Theatre. The village was at that time on the other side of Harrison, and was owned by Stella(of Stella's Restaurant) and her husband. And who can forget Sunny Day, Sunny Day Sunny Day Yeah......!

I love this! I remember my VCU summer freshman orientation in 1978. We had some group activities in Monroe park where we all sat in a circle and talk about college, life, etc. The first night on campus for the fall semester a group of us walked all the way down to Penny Lane and then staggered home.....lol. Loved my years in Richmond and VCU!

Richmond has changed, except for the sidewalks! They are still crap! :) LOVE seeing the films. It's like a time machine.
