VDEV race in Formule Renault 2.0 dijon prenois

Here is my track first race ever! (3 sprint races of 20 min this week end) with result of p14, P13 and P12 for me, all started from p14.
First of all sorry for the quality of image and sound because I loosed my GoPro and needed to use my emergency one who is a copy of GoPro, so not very good sound and hd.
The car I drove is not my car (I have the old fr 2.0 with hand gear box who play in slower category) and because I broke my engine during the free practice the team just gives me a "mule" to make the race this week end, thanks again to the FORMULA MOTORPSORT TEAM for that!!
The mule is the new fr, with a complete different shape and so a totally different car than my old fr, so it was hard for me to understand the car one day before the race but I made it at the best with the help of my coach Julien.
This race start In p13 for me (24 cars at the start all with exactly same specs) and overtaken by all the other during the first lap after the parabolic because I made a spin off!
After that I made a remontada till p12 and a battle with a very good racing driver Erwin Creed (position 3rd on the season championship) for the P11 position, he mades a spinoff to an other car just before I was in contact with him so he damaged his aero and his front tire, is why it was possible for me to play and maybe overtaken him if I was a bit more aggressive but I didn't wanted to take the risk, if no damage on his car he was in the battle for P1.
Very nice experience for me as iam a beginner in the category and this vdev championship is composed of very good racing driver and also young future eurocup driver, who is the championship just before going gp2 and f1.

BRAVO pour tes résultats. Ca fait quoi alors d'être en piste pour une course plutôt qu'un chrono ? Pas trop flippé de se retrouver avec d'autres personnes qui veulent rien lâcher, pas trop compliqué de gérer la pression que tu te met ?

Au niveau pression ca va j'avais déjà l'habitude d'autant qu'il n'y a là aucun enjeux, juste se faire plaisir. Le problème c'est que je n'ai pas le niveau pour jouer devant et lors de ces courses j'était pile entre les autos lente et rapide, donc pas trop de bagarre, par contre les 6/7 premiers eux terminent la course avec seulement quelques secondes de diff avec le premier et là ca se bagarre roues dans roues, donc du pure plaisir. Il me faut encore de l'entraînement afin de pouvoir jouer avec ce paquet là.

Hinterherfahrer Bahram thanks bahram, you should try one day yes it is fantastic to drive when you understood the aero and comportment, all other car looks so easy to drive after, even a corvette of 1000hp on the nordschleife with used tire :-)

Bientot un BTG avec la formule renault ? Un peu de patience et tu vas poutrer tout le monde. Petit detail, combien pèses tu ? parce que dans une barquette de ce genre ça y joue beaucoup. Surtout quand tu es face à des jeunes donc le physique moyen est de 1m60 pour 50kg

sebastian vittel Ha c'est sur qu'avec ce poids tu vas aider le train arrière à passer la puissance au sol ^^ Par contre adieu les lignes droites. Le battle sur la fin c'est avec exactement la même F.renault ? Dans la ligne droite il est bcp plus rapide. Il est plus leger ? Aero ? les 2 ?

oui identique, mais il a un plat sur le pneu et une partie du carbon de l'aileron avant qui a cassé ce qui fait qu'il est garé dans les virages, mais avec moins d'aero en ligne droite ca va mieux.
