Xion was a replica to Sora, but was influenced and defined by her relationship with roxas. She isn't a true part of sora, up until she returned Sora's memories back to him, which sacrificed her existence as a price to pay. Her memories held by Sora makes her an essential part of him now. Roxas had a heart before returning to Sora, but he held more of his memories that defined Sora too. Their purpose for existing has been fulfilled, but their sadness needs closure. They deserve to be brought back for more development as different people, like Sora says.

I find this arrangement fit better with the actual battle. Even though it retain the sadness, there are some adrenaline-pumping tone and a sense of danger like "Ok!, This is it! The final showdown!" kinda feel. Great job!

I don't know why people aww saying that Vector to the Heavens didn't feel like a boss theme. It always seemed like more of a formality to me, since the attacks were so easily dodged or blocked and she had no healing that fight. Since its so easy compared to the previous phase, a softer theme seemed appropriate.

The dubstep part of it didnt exactly match the beginning at first, and seemed to overpower the piano in the backround, but as it progressed further, it all made sense, everything cbining together to create a magical, wondrous composition. i came up with another theory about her name: I think the letters form the word "Noi" ("we/us" in italian) which makes sense because xion is an artificial mix within sora riku and kairi's pieces of memory and abilities, she looks also like kairi, her theme has a small reminder to riku's and by the end of 358/2 days she assumes sora's appearance ! (Italian is considered a cool language to say the most simple words in japan so i think this is really probable)
