Sadly, isn't working for me. I followed your instructions, set the reference frame, even tried changing the global in and out but nothing helped. The node starts glowing red when I try to analyze the timeline. I had a look inside the macro and it seems the optical flow is causing it but I could not determine why. I tried multiple different footages too. Any idea what could be the problem?

The Surface tracker is based on trackable features. This technique tracks all the pixels in the image. It's a very different thing.

Wow... I want to pass the compositing to fusion or fusion in resolve from Ae. I'm seeing so much potential. currently what I see here I do in mocha pro with powermesh. I happened to replace entire faces. in that case with your method you would blur the eye and mouth areas so as not to distort the plate underneath, right? damn I want to try it. Thank you . By the way fusion stand-alone or in davinci.?

good job ! Anyway the "generate StMap" returns a rendered range 0.0 to 1.0 every time, i have in the folder all exr files but the 2 first are good, the others have 0kb.... any idea ?

Just blow my mind, i was thinking that lockdown tool of after effect is best in this regard. I have one question, is this technique work if the subject fo out of frame and then appear again.

Optical Flow only calculates the pixel movement of what's on screen. so, if you have to track something that goes out of frame you'd need 2 instances of vectrowarp. SmartVectors and Mesh Tracking are not the same thing. Both have their own advantages/disadvantages.

it doesn't work for me. In the console, the error "Dissolve1 cannot get foreground image at time...all frames" In the macrogroup error in the Timespeed1_1 node in the expression "if(ml_VectorWarp_1.Direction==0,1,-1)" I can't find which parameter it is. Could you help me? How can I fix it?

I guess you're using Fusion in Resolve. It's a known issue. If you follow the WSL thread you will see we're trying to find a solution. Alexey already posted a new version of the macro, go grab that and see if it works for you... and of course, let me know! :)

ok my sequence begin was 0, so the exr STmap was 0000,0001,1002,1003..... so now it works except nothing happen for the warp tracking.... Help !

did you set the reference frame before doing anything? The reference frame is by default set to 1001. That0s why.
