Good video. I have the Revic BLR10B, happy with them. Range much further than others. After watching your video I know the Revic would easily out range them.

by the way. I really like your videos, out of the box thinking and results. They are always a confirmation and or a new point to think about.

Great video Mr. Dykstra. Once more, I appreciate your opinion. Having lots of experience with the military level Vectronics, I was definitely hoping for more. The story of Joseph is amazing. If we adhere to His word and follow His laws, being faithful in all, God will take great care of us. Look at the story of Job. Again, if you honor Him he will bless you!

Thanks. Great review. Glad I just picked up a pair of new old stock Vectronix Viper 2’s. Thought the x’s would get a deer at 2000 consistently.

Thank you for this review. Have been waiting for someone without skin in the game to give their opinion. Especially someone with access to MilSpec RFs. I have a Terrapin X - doesn’t integrate well with my Garmin Tactix even though there is a Vectronix type connection - couldn’t get through to anyone. My units still punches above its weights but given my interaction with them, not buying their products anymore. Also much rather glass with my Zeiss SFLs and just use the Terrapin X with my Kestrel 5700.

Hello! Thanks for the detailed and useful review. I’m looking to buy a Vector X, but comparing it to the Vector 23 isn’t ideal since they’re in different leagues. I’ve got solid experience with the original Vectronix Terrapin PLRF 05 and would appreciate it if you could run a side-by-side comparison of the Vector X and the original PLRF 05 Terrapin. Same day, same targets, to really see where the Vector X stands. What I’m most interested in is small target performance-say, 10" steel plates or even birds at 500+ meters. A friend has the Terrapin X, and we found the PLRF 05 outperforms it on small targets at those ranges. A head-to-head on this would be really useful. I’d be very grateful if you could provide such a comparison!

I also have the big Military Vector's, never had their civilian line. But I've to agree, their service, even in EU sucks. I started to sell them all, because the Military ones have NSN numbers. As this, during traveling you are possible to run eveytime into major law issues. They could be taken away, because they are listed as war material.😮😢 So I changed into another item, which is able to pin up to true 10+ km. It is a military unit as well, but without NSN number listing.😅

Ordered the 12x back in June. Seems like they continue to miss the shipping deadlines. The Vortex Fury’s still work well in my opinion. Really just want that reticle to measure targets.

Greg not sure if I missed it, since I only heard other commercially available units. How would these go up vs a leica geovid pro, or EL range? Mainly the glass aspect, since I would sure hope the LR blows the swaro out of the water.

As an ex Vortex Reseller I unfortunately have to say, the Furry 5000HD was a big disappointment. On sunny days no unit wasn't able to range a church turret out to 2k meters. We rejected them all and did tell the customers the truth. On the other hand, the Furry 4000HD with Geo ballistics was a positive surprise.

Played with the 10x DMR model with range enhancers this past weekend. It struggled to range a 2/3 IPSC a few times. Glass was great, but with enhancers, it darkened a bit.

Hey Greg, what version of the EL Ranges do you have? My understanding is the first generation of the EL Range from Swarovski do not have the same quality as the original EL's and the second generation has the same quality of the non range finding EL's. I just picked up the second generation EL Range's and believed I selected the best range finding binocular from a glass quality and laser range finding perspective for hunting. At this point I am not selling but just curious.

My experience looking thru a bino lrf, all the information in the right barrel is barely legible to me. I spend alot of time trying to aim the reticle and then reading the information is difficult for me. I have been looking for a while, but does anyone know if there is a bino laser range finder out in the market where the reticle and firing solution is displayed to the left eye? Every bino LRF i find shows the information to the right eye.

Thanks for the comparisons and sharing your opinion. I ordered mine in 12x with the range enhancers and the RRS clamp last month. Also, I've been waiting on primers for the last 2 years. I've been looking and checking, and no one's had any. I've had everything but primers as far as components go. Well, just last week, I happened to check the website of a random sporting goods store, and they showed (3,000) 100-packs of CCI-250's in stock! I couldn't believe it. So, I ordered (25). Then I ordered another (25)! Then I decided to get (50) more... And then another (50)! All total I got 15,000 primers all the same lot #! For me I figure that's about 3 years' worth of shooting give or take. I would have loved to have bought more, but I just pre-ordered these Vector X's, and paid SCR for my smith work, and some other expenses. I wished I could have bought more but I'm grateful for what I got. I watched the website, and they went from (3,000) down to (0) over a matter of a few days.

So it looks like yours perform exactly like mine. The glass is very good but the ranging ability sucks! These arent even in the running with my SIGs. Im very disappointed with that however i may have figured out why. If you look at their advertised distances they work dead on with the EU class 1 laser where the class 1m laser that they are supposed to be should work to 7000 yards. The best i can get on a tin shed is about 3000 yards. I think they may have shipped with the wrong laser configuration. The unit says class 1m but they dont act like it.

One American 🇺🇸 company or should I say a re-seller of suppressors Dead-Air. Their warranty and and customer service SUCKS! Slow and customer service reps that couldn’t care less for your time. Bought a new Nomad Lti and wanted to take off the direct thread cap but it didn’t come off after less than 100 rounds. Sent it in for warranty and they have had My property in their possessions for close up two months. I talked to them and they said today that perhaps 3-4 more weeks?!! Don’t buy their products, they don’t even make them. Just put their name on a product and re-sell them. So sad.
