If I had to guess it's to make keeping Neuro online easier. As it stands Neuro is on a PC seperate from Vedal's main PC and the setup is quite strenuous on the PC. Setting Neuro up on NVIDIA's H100 would make thing's infinitely easier on Vedal.

Vedal needs to find a sponsor LMAO with the size of his channel buying a H100 would not be a problem. He needs to upgrade neuro's CPU too if he hadn't yet. Also, it is not worth at all, his 4090 + a threadripper(some people say the Ryzen 9 7000 series is really good too, and the 8000 series is coming soon) would do the job. And it would cost what? 10-13k? He would need to change his CPU for an Intel server one too I think to run a H100.

4090 is way weaker than an H100 for running and training LLMs, heck even if not accounting for processing power a 4090 only has a measly 24GB of VRAM which is quite limiting. An H100 is roughly 12x more performant for the type of tensor workload Neuro is.
