You are only technically correct, neuro is WAY to complex to be written by a human, instead it was trained through an automated process, or perhaps instantiated through the projection of an already trained language model which in turn was created through an automated process. However you are still right because the automated process is a thing of code and since it made neuro then techncally code made neuro.

@@hind6461 The code behind all of that was written by a person. Also, the Minecraft AI is a toolset interacted with by neuro. It's symbolic AI, which is an entirely different type of AI from the neural networks you are referring to, and it's entirely defined by humans. It's just "commanded" by neuro's LLM.

Vedal mentioned afterwards that he hates the Minecraft latency, so this is pretty much right; I'm guessing that the Minecraft AI was in a loop of thinking about new choices rather than making them.

@@uponeric36 Doesn't Neuro make choices for the Minecraft AI? I recall Vedal saying having Neuro playing Minecraft makes her process things slower than normal because she has to communicate with the AI and the AI has to process her commands, so having a ton of people talking and doing things around her makes it more difficult for her to do specific things unless they repeat it or if it catches her attention. If regular Neuro is a child, Minecraft Neuro devolves her to a (violent) toddler.

It always frustrated me when Neuro was stun-locked in collabs because people wouldn't remain quiet and let her process their words. Its better now tho.

She can tell who's speaking because discord tells her, but i don't think she can tell when that person has finished talking and another is talking over them, so she keeps listening and listening
