"Aim for a pure mind" - James Swartz. There is *nothing* on this earth as pleasurable as a pure mind. lt is the real "Kingdom of Heaven". A purified mind makes every cell blissful. Knowing "l am awareness" will eventually create this kind of mind. Do not give up o' man! You will not regret it.

I have really been enjoying these teachings, but now I just hit a brick wall. My question is this: If the Self is Pure Consciousness or Pure Knowledge or Pure Awareness, without any object, then what is that knowledge or consciousness OF ? What is the Self, conscious OF, or what is it Aware OF, if there is no object ? It almost seems as though Creation is a necessity so that the Self would have something to be conscious OF. Otherwise Pure Consciousness would just be an eternity of simply thinking "I Am" or "I Exist". And how can either I or Pure Consciousness be the "Knower of the doer" if there is no "doer" to be known, since the doer is an object.? And if the "doer" is an object and only visible or able to be seen or known in the phenomenal world and not on the level of Pure Consciousness, then how can the Self be the "knower" of anything other than itself ???

Of ITSELF.There is only itself - ever-present,limitless,non-dual,full,whole and complete awareness or self,subject.

Think of a light bulb. It's there shining on things. It keeps on shining even if there's nothing there. There doesn't have to be an object. Awareness is just you. It's what everything appears to. When there's nothing, it's like being in deep sleep. When there are apparent objects, it's like the waking or dream states.
