What is the difference between Consciousness and reflected Consciousness? The Self and its Creation. Jiva and the Self. What are the three Gunas? Sattva, Tamas, Rajas.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at info@meinyogalehrer.de. I'd gladly try to answer it. On www.meinyogalehrer.de you can find german scripts of all parts of this video-series as well. Many thanks to Yoga Vidya, who invited James to Westerwald-Ashram. Thank you for making this available to us. I did attend one of his weekend seminars and I can't wait to have another opportunity to see him again when he comes to the States. Your efforts on our behalf are so appreciated. I have referred many to these videos and they are making a difference for those of us who are ready.

this guy is a really excellent teacher of lineage-based well-rounded Vedanta. In the West advaita has been over run by pseudo enlightened egomaniacs (witness the comments below). Before one ventures forth into this sea of BS it would be good to study this guy and find out what Advaita is really saying and then you'll discriminate between what's worthwhile out there and what is just opinion based crap. Westerners have giant egos and just can't resist playing guru (again, witness all the comments below). They're in love with their own opinions.

We all start from different positions and go through different "stages" of understanding, I think, it's kind of natural to bring patterns of thinking and valuing something to this teaching and the pieces of it one understood at the beginning. If there is a truth, it is absolute and will leave every half truth or lie dissolved in time. Love! Tom

That sounds like a lot of theory to me.

I mean no disrespect as I have/am/will be learning a lot. But isn’t the subtle body the container for the astral and mental body? If yes subtle body then would be rule by a denser force or vibration than the SaTT (in the case water with fluidity and mobility ) right?

ZENderista I agree mate. It sounds like theory. But I'm willing to go ahead with it as it is possibly of great use and in alignment with the non dual understanding

Anatta in Buddhism is an adjective and it means not-self. Specifically in reference to ownership and control of objects. There is no-self (owner/controller) in conditioned existence. The unconditioned is also not viewed as being owned or controlled by a person either. Thus Anatta doesn't mean "The self doesn't exist" so much as it does mean there is no personal entity who owns or controls anything.
