I cannot express in words how interesting this is. I found Pravrajika Gitaprana today, this is the second lecture I am watching with her and I am grateful to have been blessed her talks. Thank you.

This was a marvelous talk. I am a Shakta myself, but I had never heard this topic discussed so comprehensively. To be honest, I find Vedanta somewhat depressing. It seems to take away the sense of purpose. Tantra fills up that void marvellously.

Excellent lecture, thank you very much for enlightening us on the Divine Mother. One point I disagree is that there IS a RIGHT way to pronounce irrespective of regional pronunciation mistakes. Vedic mantras have to be pronounced EXACTLY the way they are supposed to. Especially in the beginning when devotion and reverence to the deity is low.

What she said could be called " Diety yoga", is not that what is already known as "Bhakti Yoga"?.
@noone3216 Жыл бұрын
Yes. Take note, she is not introducing a new phrase here, she is giving an explanation on an existing phrase. She says "it often gets translated as 'deity yoga' in English". Because someone who only speaks English wouldn't know what is meant by "bhakti". To them the word Bhakti doesn't mean anything, but they do know what the word Deity is and what it means and relates to.

I am on the verge of renouncing and becoming monk the last think standing behind the decision how my meals will come by shall I join ashram again I want the right spiritual guidance not just joining random ashram.

Is brahman in the Brahmachharya and not in the in Sansari? When you say I renounce then who is exactly renouncing and what he is renouncing ? What abides him so that he is renouncing?
@arunachalaarpanaa6 жыл бұрын
There is no way you are ready for renouncing anything with so many doubts and confusions. Ashrams will only make it worst. Why do I want to renounce btw? What are u doing now for food?

They are from different traditions. Tibetan tantra and the bhakti of India have some similar aspects but are definitely not one and the same.

I'm actually surprised that anyone could think so negative about the Puja, being that it is the closest we can come to the Divine. Anyone who thinks so little of the puja... I'd suspect they are some degree an atheist?
